As a first time mom, it is important to me, to choose a confinement centre that is able support my postpartum recovery. During our initial visit to The Senses KK, we were warmly greeted by Sue, whom patiently explained all the details and showed us around. What we liked about the place is the ample natural lighting in the rooms and common area, which makes it look very open and inviting.

Throughout our stay, the room was well kept and tidy. Food was delivered promptly 5 times a day, and was a good mix of Chinese and Western cuisine which is carefully curated to suit the requirements of a new mum. The chef was also accommodative to my dietary constraints and certain requests. Once a week, we have paed visits to check on baby growth and to consult the doctor if necessary. There were also TCM consultation weekly to follow up on your postpartum recovery.
The main highlight in our stay was primarily working alongside with the nurses in the nursery. The entire nursery team was such a joy to work with. We can truly see the passion and connection they made with all the babies in the nursery. All the nurses took such good care of my baby, with constant updates on her growth progress. They were also very supportive of our breastfeeding journey and gave alot of advise on how to take care of baby. Not to mention their speedy replies within minutes to our mundane questions/requests even in the wee hours of the night.
The entire confinement stay with The Senses KK was truly a home away from home. Thank you to Sue, Irene, KC for creating such a positive and wonderful confinement experience. It truly helped to bridge the gap between hospital delivery and taking care of baby at home. If given another chance, we will not hesitate to return back to The Senses again.

– The nursing team are professional & attentive, handle both mommy and baby well.
– Food served is yummy and nutritious, portion is big enough for breastfeeding big eaters like me.
– Cosy environment that’s make myself, my husband and my little one who stay in together feels like going for vacation.
– Weekly TCM & Pediatrician visit to check on mommy & baby
– Useful classes for parents
– Practical products from the Goodie bag received.
– It would be better if there is a in house jaundice check so we don’t have to keep bringing our baby out for checking.
Overall, I’m happy with my confinement stay in The Senses which makes me recovered well and rejuvenated.
LGCC felt like home from the very first visit. Chloe and the team were warm and welcoming, and I knew I made the right choice. During my 28-day stay, I was treated like a queen — with delicious meals, caring nurses, and a peaceful environment. The staff took great care of my twins and always encouraged me to rest. It’s been three months, but I still miss my time there deeply.
I truly enjoyed my 28-day stay at La Gracia. From day one, the staff made me feel at home in a calm and peaceful environment. The nurses were hands-on, caring for my baby 24/7 so I could rest and recover. The food was a highlight — nourishing, generous, and perfect for boosting milk supply. I’m grateful for the support and would highly recommend LGCC to any new mother.
I highly recommend this confinement centre. The entire team — from the person in charge to the nurses and kitchen staff — was dedicated and professional. Their support with breastfeeding was incredible and made all the difference. The nurses were well-trained and caring throughout. I have no regrets choosing LGCC for my confinement journey.
I had a truly pampering and restful one-month stay at La Gracia SS16. The support from the nurses, especially with breastfeeding, made the early days much easier. I also miss the delicious, well-timed meals. The centre is cosy, quiet, and not overly commercialized — just what I needed. If I had to choose again, I’d stay here without hesitation.
